MEDITECH’s 2017 Physician and CIO Forum is being held October 18-19 at MEDITECH’s Foxborough, Massachusetts facility. Last year’s event approached maximum capacity, so, if you are considering attending, it would be wise to register as soon as possible. MEDITECH has published the agenda and there are six breakout sessions to allow maximum participation. There are 36 topics covered in these sessions, including a number presented by NHA active and recent clients (note that some organizations are conducting presentations on multiple topics). We’d like to acknowledge the following: - Avera Health, Sioux Falls, SD – Andrew Burchett, DO, CMO; Kim Jundt, MD; Kristin Laberis, Operations Coordinator, Service Lines; Matt Stanley, DO, Clinical Vice President, Behavioral Health Service Line
- Frisbie Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NH – Deborah Harrigan, MD
- Grand View Health, Sellersville, PA – David Travis, DO, FACC, Cardiologist; Suzann Szewczak, DO, Family Medicine

- Steward Health, Boston, MA – Laurence Spector, MD, MEDITECH Physician Informaticist, ED Physician
- Swedish Covenant Hospital, Chicago, IL – Karen Sheehan, CIO; Bruce McNulty, MD, CMO
Several of us from NHA will be there, and as we are local to MEDITECH’s offices we can easily arrange to meet before or after the Forum, if that is more convenient for you. To arrange a meeting, contact David LaFontaine at dlafontaine@navinhaffty.com. We hope to see you there. Also, once again this year, NHA, CloudWave and Forward Advantage are hosting the Welcome Reception for MEDITECH customers, which will be held the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 18. Click here to register. Most of the NHA leadership team will be present at the event, and we look forward to seeing both current and past clients, along with new and old friends. |
