SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Application Manager, this position will play a critical role in the design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of both new and existing software solutions. An Application Analyst II is expected to perform as a senior analyst while being assigned to more complex assignments within the clinical and financial applications.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

No licenses necessary.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Works independently with general direction and makes high quality decisions for the greater good of the organization. Escalates to management as appropriate. Prior experience involving successful implementation of large-scale projects within a healthcare setting is highly desirable. Project management skills including the ability to develop project plans, identify resources, and manage issues. Software Development methodologies including waterfall and agile. Ability to seek out educational opportunities to build and maintain both technical and professional skills.
The individual must be a team player, establishing and maintaining good working relationships with end-users, vendors and peers. The ability to independently establish priorities, articulate workflow and meet deadlines is essential.

Work Schedule: Full-time, days; Participates in on-call rotation and assists in the management of Help Desk calls
